Few words from the Founder:

My name is Plamen Aleksandrov. 

I am a Certified Personal Trainer and qualified Gymnastics Coach.                         I hold a Sports Management degree from the National Sports Academy in Bulgaria, considered to be one of the top sports universities in Europe.

 

I would describe myself as a visionary entrepreneur with a passion for sports and nutritioning and the benefits each can bring.

My vision is for better health and well-being for those working in offices or having sedentary lifestyle. 

If you ask Why... ?

Answer is simple.

 Human body is not designed to be seated or inactive for long periods of time..

There are plenty of researches made to show the consequences of sedentary lifestyle.

 

                According to Dr. James Levine, co-director of the Mayo Clinic and the Arizona State University Obesity Initiative, there are at least 24 different chronic diseases and conditions associated with excessive sitting.

As he wrote in Scientific American:

 

“Sitting for long periods is bad because the human body was not designed to be idle. I have worked in obesity research for several decades, and my laboratory has studied the effect of sedentary lifestyles at the molecular level all the way up to office design.

Lack of movement slows metabolism, reducing the amount of food that is converted to energy and thus promoting fat accumulation, obesity, and the litany of ills—heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and more—that come with being overweight. Sitting is bad for lean people, too.

For instance, sitting in your chair after a meal leads to high blood sugar spikes, whereas getting up after you eat can cut those spikes in half.”

During the course of my studies, I covered various subjects which helped me to expand my knowledge of the human body, human psychology and physique.

Moreover, other classes involving  Biomechanics, Sports Medicine, Sports Exercise Physiology, Sports Sociology, Theory and Methodology of Sports Training have now enabled me to develop and set up unique training regimens for my clients.

 

 At present, the hard work at university and at various sports have paid off by providing me with fundamental knowledge, a strong, healthy and harmonious body, and most importantly discipline and persistence .

With all the experience I have gained I feel comfortable guiding, explaining and teaching others all they may wish to know regarding training and nutrition.
